The Fall Guys Battle of the Brands winner has been revealed! Ninja, MrBeast, Aimlab, and G2 Esports have been named as the winners and we'll soon see brand-new costumes repping these brands.

Fall Guys has been an insanely popular game. This "party battle royale" from Mediatonic and Devolver Digital has had a lot of buzz around it since it dropped earlier in August 2020. Many brands have asked to get a custom costume made to represent them and so the people behind the game cooked up a brilliant plan: auction off the rights to an in-game costume with the proceeds benefiting charity.

The charity in question is SpecialEffect, the UK equivalent of AbleGamers. SpecialEffect helps out gamers with physical disabilities by providing them the tech they need to play games just as easily as the rest of us can.

If you haven't quite been keeping up with this game, check out the Fall Guys Season 2 Sneak Peek that was revealed late last week as part of Gamescom Opening Night Live and get hyped for Season 2!

The Battle of the Brands started out with some relatively humble donations. Content creators Jesse Fox and Greg Miller opened with bids around $100 and Cooler Master then more than doubled their bids with $252. From there, eSports organizations, games, and other content creators bid higher and higher amounts, ultimately culminating in a $100,000 bid from YouTuber MrBeast in the early days of the contest.

Things slowed down a bit from there, but that's not the end of the story. Various companies and people continued to escalate the bidding war over the following days, eventually surpassing a total of $500,000. Now, the Fall Guys Battle of the Brands winner has finally been decided!

Fall Guys Battle of the Brands Winner Isn't Just One Person

The Fall Guys Battle of the Brands winner has concluded two weeks of intense bidding over the right to have a costume representing one's brand designed and released into the game. The winner, however, is not quite what we expected.

As noted in the above tweet, A group of four brands worked together to nearly double the $510,000 bid by YouTuber FGteev. Content creators Ninja and MrBeast teamed up with G2 Esports and Aimlab to make a generous donation of one million dollars. Amusingly, this coalition sniped the winning bid in the last few minutes of this weeks-long charity auction.

Of course, this victory isn't quite finalized just yet. The legal paperwork needs to be taken care of behind the scenes and then the costumes have to actually be produced. It may be some time before we actually see them in game, assuming that no problems pop up along the way.

The Fall Guys Battle of the Brands was a pretty cool way to leverage the explosive popularity of this game while simultaneously helping out a good cause. If you haven't yet grabbed this great game, today is the last day to get it as one of the two PlayStation Plus games for August 2020. Otherwise, you can buy Fall Guys on PC via Steam or on the PlayStation 4 via the PlayStation Store at a price of $19.99 or your regional equivalent.
