Falcon Age will be coming to the Epic Games Store for PC and virtual reality in the Summer of 2019. If you haven't heard of this game before, you're missing out on something that looks like it's going to be pretty cool.

Pictures are worth a thousand words, so a video has got to count for around a million. Take a look at the Falcon Age PC Reveal Trailer to see a bit of this game in action:

In this game, your colony planet has been devastated by robotic invaders who have stripped the land of most of its resources and turned nearly everything to dust. Our hero Ara has been wrongfully imprisoned on trumped-up charges and she passes the time in jail by befriending a young falcon. Thankfully, the bird is smart as a whip and helps her escape from jail. Now, it's up to Ara to kick some robot butt with the help of her avian friend.

You'll be able to name, feed, teach, and — most importantly — dress up your adorable birb companion in your quest to rid the planet of its robotic colonizers. Much like the traditional falconers of today, you'll also be able to use your falcon to hunt animals and craft precious materials or delicious snacks for your winged buddy. That's not to say that you're defenseless, either. You'll have a powerful stun baton to hand that's perfect for knocking out the buckets of bolts that are oppressing your planet!

Falcon Age will be launching on the Epic Games Store sometime in the Summer of 2019 for PC and (optionally) VR. It will be playable on Oculus Rift, Rift S, HTC Vive, and Valve Index. No price has been announced. You can see some more neat screenshots of the game over at its page on the Epic Games Store. Check out our review to see what we thought of this game!
