Poorly Timed Games has revealed its inaugural title - get ready for Grim Tranquility, a new sci-fi roguelike tactical RPG coming to PC next year.

Grim Tranquility is set in a time where humanity has messed up our home planet pretty badly. That only leaves us with the option of heading to the stars to find a new world, but some nasty aliens aren't too keen on letting us roam around the galaxy unchecked. Check out the Grim Tranquility Reveal Trailer to get your first look at this upcoming game!

Of course, you'll be able to use traditional tactical RPG mechanics on the battlefield, but Grim Tranquility has much more than that. Players will be able to pick from 3 original classes for each run, battling alien enemies on procedurally generated levels.

Combat aside, you'll also have to consider the politics of the galaxy. You can gain powerful buff effects through bribing or defeating alien officials. You'll also be fighting a rebellion against a corrupt alien empire while humanity searches for a new permanent home.

The developers have also assembled a voice acting cast of some well-known talents in the industry. Steve Blum (Mortal Kombat), Darin De Paul (The Outer Worlds), Misty Lee (Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order), and others have lent their talents to this upcoming game.

I've had a controller in my hand since I was 4 and I haven't stopped gaming since. CCGs, Tabletop Games, Pen & Paper RPGs - I've tried a whole bunch of stuff over the years and I'm always looking to try more!
