Rebellion has announced that a sequel 17 years in the making, Evil Genius 2: World Domination, has its Evil Genius 2 release date coming up soon. Like the original, Evil Genius 2 will let players become the bad guy and allow them to build a secret island lair, build an army of loyal minions and henchmen, and defend their base from the Forces of Justices and dominate the world.
The game will have four campaigns, with players able to choose between the "narcissist despot Max, heavy-muscle madman Ivan, manipulative ex-spymaster Emma, or scientist zealot Zalika" to play through. There will be three island locations to choose from, with each having separate gameplay challenges in order to play through. Inside the lair, players will be able to design, build, and customize it however they wish, with modern RTS mechanics compared to the original's 2004 release.
So, What is the Evil Genius 2 Release Date?
Evil Genius 2: World Domination will release on PC, via Steam on March 30, 2021. It will build on the first game, adding new rooms, henchmen, agents, traps, and other goodies that players will be able to utilize in their bid to take over the world. You can choose between the "deliciously fatal" Sushi Chef or the "always famished" Venus Spy-Trap. Using these tools, players will be able to send their henchmen and minions on missions all over the world as you try to seize control of different world regions. Players will have to "Complete lucrative schemes, expand your criminal network, recruit new henchmen and steal all manner of useful loot" that ranges from the doors of Fort Knox or an actual Dodo bird.
