The Escapists

Looking to get away? Break out of the prison that is society and escape? Well, good news. Later this week you can grab The Escapists for free on Epic Game Store.

The Escapists is a sandbox prison break game where your goal is to break out of various prisons. The game offers many different ways of doing so, with you being able to do everything from sneaking out of the prison through drainage pipes to starting prison riots and hostilely taking over the prison by force. You'll have to work either with or against the other inmates and make use of the tools and items you find in the prison. After all, you never know when a spoon may just be exactly what you need to pry off a toilet and dig your way to victory. Long live the mighty freedom spoon.

For now, though, you can grab Jotun: Valhalla Edition. This beautifully animated top-down action game puts you in the role of a Viking who finds herself dead at sea. Thankfully, she's given a second chance if she manages to travel the world and kill the five Jotun. Of course, this means solving puzzles, fighting enemies, and eventually doing battle with each of the five giants. The Valhalla Edition comes with a special bonus mode where you get a Viking who is fully maxed out on health and magic and fight the game's bosses back to back, giving you an extra challenging battle to try out.

You have until December 12th to grab Jotun: Valhalla Edition. The Escapists will be available from December 12th until December 19th.

If you are picking anything else up on the Epic Games Store, you can use the code TechRaptor and help support TechRaptor.
