Escape From Tarkov update 0.12.8.9457 is a decently large one, including new skills such as Crafting and Hideout Management as well as other gameplay elements for players to play around with. A new special item such as the Compass has been added, as well as the Azimuth. It's an item that will allow players to easily identify directions by pressing the 'U' key, and it's unlootable, so no one will be able to take it.

There's also a new type of bleeding called Heavy Bleeding, and it will require special treatment items to stop, although some medical kits have the property of stopping heaving bleeding. If a character has heavy bleeding, they'll leave some traces of blood behind. Just in case you weren't certain this was a horror movie already, now there's going to be traces blood everywhere as well when things start to get dicey.

New equipment added will see players using new armored vests, chest rigs, backpacks, headphones, helments, and berets. New weapons and weapons parts are the M45A1 Pistol, the KS-23 Shotgun, the RFT Rifle, and "new mods for various weapons."
