Escape from Tarkov Patch 12.11 is here, and it's bringing lots of things you need to know about if you're an avid player. While we won't know the full extent of the changes and additions until the patch is fully live, we do have some preliminary Escape from Tarkov patch notes to mull over.

What's included in Escape from Tarkov 12.11 Patch?

Right now, Battlestate Games says it's in the process of installing the patch so players can get their hands on the new content. When the Escape from Tarkov patch 12.11 installation completes, it'll bring a whole raft of bug fixes and tweaks with it. These include a fix for players not spawning after successful matchmaking, a blank-screen hang after a raid's treatment screen, and an inability to move sideways through some doorways, among other things. We don't have full Escape from Tarkov patch notes yet, but you can read the full changelog for fixes and tweaks here.

As well as lots of tweaks and fixes, Escape from Tarkov 12.11 is also bringing a server wipe with it.

An Escape from Tarkov wipe is also coming in 12.11

In addition to these fixes, an Escape from Tarkov wipe is also happening today, as Battlestate announced a couple of days back. This means player data will be reset in preparation for patch 12.11's new content. Some players have speculated that this wipe is related to a misalignment in the game's economy, but Battlestate has neither confirmed nor denied these rumors. Either way, you'll be losing all your progress and player data in Tarkov after the wipe, so prepare to head back in with a clean slate when the game does come back up.

Right now, we don't know the full extent of everything that's changed in Escape from Tarkov Patch 12.11 (or, to give it its technical name, 0.12.11, since the full game isn't actually out yet). We also don't have a final timeline for when patch installation will be complete and you can head back into the game. If you want to get the latest updates, it's a good idea to follow Tarkov developer Battlestate Games on Twitter, as that's where major announcements like installation timelines and Escape from Tarkov patch notes will appear.
