El Dorado

Gameparic has announced El Dorado: The Golden City Builder, which is a city-building economic strategic title set in pre-Columbian Latin America. The city-building in this game is described as complex, as the gameplay is set in a pre-European world. This means while players are in a world that's overflowing with gold, but stuck in a brutal world that makes you struggle to survive. Players will need to make sacrifices to the Gods and fight for their favor. If they get it, their civilization will flourish for centuries.

The favor of the Gods is one of the basic and most important tasks in the game. Each player will have to pay close attention to the religious layer of the game. Without ensuring satisfaction of the Gods, succeeding in the game and expansion of the whole civilization will be extremely difficult or even impossible”, says Marcin Wenus, CEO of Gameparic.

Players will also have to meet the needs of communities, Gods, and their trade and political partners will try to meddle with the choices that they make. Wars, plagues, civil unrest, natural disasters are all things that the player will have to account for while building and maintaining their city, so they will have to be vigilant and cautious, especially for hostile cities and tribes that want your city and gold.

El Dorado: The Golden City Builder is available to wishlist on Steam tomorrow. Check it out here when the link goes live.
