Today it has been revealed on PS4 Patches--which is a website that tracks PS4 patches, shocker--that a listing for Magnum/EA Sports UFC 4 has been released onto Sony's online services. Interestingly, this isn't a complete surprise, as it was revealed about a month ago that an additional EA Sports title outside the normal set was due to be announced in the next 11 months.

If you go on the website, you can see that three patches have been released, with the game file size jumping from 19.1 GB to 21.1 GB and then back down to 20.7 GB. This makes it seem it's still under heavy development, which definitely makes sense considering it hasn't been announced yet.

Another interesting indicator is the icon that's released, showing the EA Sports UFC 4 logo, with a "Community Feedback Environment" added right below it. There's a background also included, also saying Community Feedback Environment, which seems to indicate that the game is being tested internally at the moment.

The Title Region is the US, which makes sense considering UFC 3 was developed in EA Vancouver (US is often used as a region for Canada and America on devices, much to Canadian's chagrin). There is also a PS4 Pro Enhanced 'Yes' agreeance, which also makes sense as the series has always set out to achieve a high visual benchmark. Sadly there's no PS VR compatibility, although perhaps for UFC 5 that could be a compelling possibility.

Right now there isn't much more to discuss, although UFC 4 will most likely be announced at EA Play Live 2020 on June 18, 4 PM PT. Or in 9 days, 7 hours at the time of publishing, so check back then for more details.

What do you think of this news? Do you think it is EA Sports UFC 4? Have you played any of the prior games? Are you looking forward to this title? Do you watch UFC? Let us know in the comments!
