EA has announced which games will be added to Origin Access this month, and for the most part, is a solid chunk of indie games.

If you're subscribed to Origin Access Premier then you'll get access to Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville Deluxe Edition and the Season 3 Battle Pass for Apex Legends right now. You don't have to wait, you can go play them today.

On October 15th, Origin Access Basic users will get a 10 hour free trial of Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, allowing them to step into the shoes of either plants or zombies to battle other players. This gives them a rather lengthy chance to try the game out and see if it's something they're going to want to continue playing.

Finally, on October 24th, six indie games will be joining the service. A pair of rougelites, Dead Cells and Slay the Spire will give fans of repeating runs and tweaking their performances something to play. If you're looking for a survival game, then you can grab Home Behind as you take the role of a refugee trying to make their way to Europe. Fans of platformers can play Shio, which has you using lanterns to help you jump around. If you want a top-down arcadey experience, twin-stick shooter Nex Machina also joins the line-up.

The final indie game joining the service this month is platformer Shantae: Half-Genie Hero. If you're a Basic subscriber then you'll just get the game, but if you're a Premier subscriber then you'll get the Ultimate Edition. This will give you access to both the Pirate Queen's Quest and Friends to the End DLC campaigns as well.

If you're not already a subscriber, Origin Access Basic is available for $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year, while Origin Access Premier is available for $14.99 a month, or $99.99 a year.

How do you feel about this batch of games? Going to try any of them out? Will this convince you to subscribe to Origin Access? Let us know in the comments below!
