The second new map that was announced for Battlefield V today was Al Sundan set in South Africa. This is the first map that will be available to Chapter 4 on June 27th. This new map is a return to the classic large scale sandbox type of world that Battlefield fans are used to. The map will have a variety of settings including desert, towns, and coastland so there should be something for everyone.
The spread out nature of the map will allow players who enjoy every playstyle to make the most of it. You'll see ground, vehicle, and air combat happening all around you. Some of the other major settings on the map are the airport that can give you a great air advantage and the buildings in the town that you can use to rain hell down on your enemies. Developers wanted to tell the story of WW2 but continue to make it a wide-open experience. They want to make sure that all kinds of opportunities will be available to players. On Al Sundan, you'll see "tanks and planes and infantry in what is truly battlefield."
This map will be an objective based map, each is placed in a way to promote different types of combat.
