This morning during the E3 Youtube preshow representatives from Telltale games discussed details pertaining to the next entry in their popular adaptation of The Walking Dead. The title will act as a three episode mini-series focused on the character Michonne from the comic. This series will explore ideas that have previously not been possible in the comic. It will follow in the footsteps of The Walking Dead: 400 Days as a tangential story not necessarily connected to the 'season' structure, but major details won't be unveiled until Comic Con 2015.
The idea of making the TV show and games work together to create a 'super series' that combines the games with the AMC's The Walking Dead. The representatives aknowledged prior attempts at 'super series' such as SyFy's Defiance tv series and MMO. However, the majority of details will likely be revealed during the The Walking Dead panel at Comic Con 2015 between July 9th and 12th.
