Straight from the stages of E3 2015, details about the Wii U version of Freedom Planet, a cartoony Action Platformer developed by GalaxyTrail, have been released, as long with some screenshots and concept art of the game. Freedom Planet has been on PC for a while where it received a fairly good following and approaches the Wii U for the first time.

The game will take place in a world called Avalice. The setting, gameplay and art style that give the impression of coming out of a 90s Sonic game (in a good way). The game is cartoony and looks vivid and is heavily inspired by the blue hedgehog saga.
You'll control one of the three main characters: Lilac the Dragon Girl, Carol the Wildcat or Milla the Hound Dog. The monster girls go around Avalice disrupting the plans of Lord Brevon across 14 stages, with a lot of robotic enemies and bosses that wait at every turn.
In the Wii U version, the game is compatible with pretty much all the Wii U controllers (Wii U GamePad, Wii Remote, Nunchuk, Wii U Pro Controller and Classic Controller) and supports the dual screen feature.
Freedom Planet will come out on the Nintendo eShop in August 2015 and will cost 14.99$
