Game industry veteran Dave Jones took to stage to announce a brand new Crackdown, coming exclusively to Xbox One.
The title made its debut with a fancy looking trailer, one full of Crackdown flavour and that also hinted at a nice expansion to the formula. The fantastic narrator is back - the art style and tone look similar to previous entries - and it just looks like a great follow up (especially after the underwhelming Crackdown 2).
Crackdown 1 may have been most notable for being how you got the Halo 3 beta, but it was a fun game in its own right. It had a lot of flaws and a great deal of room for improvement, but it was a really fun game (especially at the time). It's always been a promising franchise and a big next gen sequel could finally unlock all those possibilities.
