Sony fans were treated to a great looking demo of Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham Knight at E3. The game looks pretty spectacular, beautifully detailed and dripping in atmosphere.

The demo included some gliding action, some Batmobile combat, some good old punching combat and a cameo from the Scarecrow at the end. Scarecrow nightmare missions are only available on PlayStation, which is pretty exciting. Scarecrow is my personal favourite Batman villain and his segments were some of the best parts of Arkham Asylum.

If this demo is anything to go by, the game is going to be rather excellent. It's wonderfully fluid, the city looks amazing and the Batman staples look as good as ever.

Rocksteady still know how to make a Batman game, I can't wait for this one!
