The Dyson Sphere Program Blueprint system has finally arrived, making it easier than ever to mass construct buildings in the PC 4X game from Youthcat Studio and Gamera Game.

Earlier this year, the plans for the future of Dyson Sphere Program were laid out by its developer. One of the many new features in the works was a Blueprint system, but it ended up being delayed for a few days due to an issue that "seriously affected the game." Now, that issue is all sorted out and the Blueprint update is finally here!

What's New in the Dyson Sphere Program Blueprint System Update?

Naturally, the big new addition in this update is the Dyson Sphere Program Blueprint system. Simply put, this new technology makes it easier than ever to copy a section of the map and plop it down elsewhere. Here's how it's described in-game as highlighted on Reddit:

With this technology, it can mass copy the existing production line planning, making construction more effective. Saved blueprints can even be used across star clusters.

(The basic mass construction technology has a limit of facility number.)

That's not all, though — you can place a number of Blueprints in a chain simply by holding and dragging the mouse. This new system will ultimately save players a heck of a lot of clicking as they build and expand their factories.

The Dyson Sphere Program Blueprint system is the focus of this update, but that's not all that's arrived. Some new models and textures and a new main title scene have also arrived in this update along with a number of balance changes and bug fixes; you can read about all of the cool new stuff in today's patch notes. If you're looking for a new 4X game to play, you can buy Dyson Sphere Program in Steam Early Access for $19.99 or your regional equivalent.
