For those of you still chopping and hacking away at the zombies in Dying Light, you will be glad to know that there are plans to release free DLC for the game including hard mode. Techland hasn't described what the DLC will entail but with the addition of hard mode, it should make anyone excited for more.

Hard mode will be an excellent addition to the game as it will make zombies harder, bite harder, and be overall challenging to players. This is speculation at this point to know what will be in hard mode but hopefully it does make the game challenging.

Now onto the season pass. First up for DLC is Cuisine & Cargo. It will be adding two "hardcore" buildings that will have a mission attached to both. Which sounds exciting to be fighting your way through a building filled with zombies. Then after that in March will be Ultimate Survival Bundle which will bring in three special outfits and four over-the-top weapons. Lastly in May will bring about The Bozak Horde. A special horde mode set in Harran Stadium where the player will square off in wave after wave of zombies looking for flesh. The season pass is currently $19.99.

Just recently a post on the official forums apologizing to the community after the using DCMA to censor mods for the game and proceeded to reach out for more content from the community.

Modders were a massive part of our gaming community since Call of Juarez 2 and Dead Island— and we wish to continue that with Dying Light,” explains Techland in an official statement. “This invitation is only the first stage of our cooperation with the gaming community. After the modding tools are released, we plan to actively support the coolest mods created by players.
Free updates will still be rolling out. Also check out our review for the Dying Light and stay tuned for more info.
