Get ready to face off against the hellish legions once again -- the Dying Light 3: Hellraid Update 3 is here, adding a new Fire Wand, new challenges, and an Armory to show off all of your cool weapons.

While Techland has been focused on the upcoming launch of Dying Light 2 (which was delayed last month), it hasn't given up on the first game just yet. A new update has arrived today with some fun new toys for gamers to get their hands on. Check out the Dying Light: Hellraid Update 3 trailer to see some of the new content in motion!

What's New in Dying Light: Hellraid Update 3?

The first major addition in Dying Light: Hellraid Update 3 is a new challenge for players to overcome. Three new portals have been added to the game leading to this challenge, but it might not be so easy for you to beat.

Fortunately, we're also getting some new weapons to help us win this fight. The Fire Wand is a new addition that will let you command awesome fire powers against your enemies. You'll also get access to three new potions.

The final major addition is the Armory, a location that will open up after you've finished the Imprisonment quest. This special location can be used to show off all of the cool weapons you've picked up over the course of your adventure. That aside, there are a number of other small changes and bug fixes; you can read about all of the new goodies in the full Dying Light: Hellraid Update 3 patch notes.

There's plenty of content to explore in this game and there's never been a better time to buy it: you can buy Dying Light Platinum Edition for PC on Steam for $24.99, a 50% discount that lasts until October 28, 2021. You may as well have something to do while we wait for the launch of Dying Light 2 -- just don't expect any romance options in the sequel.

What do you think of the new content added in Dying Light: Hellraid Update 3? Do you think the sequel will be able to live up to the massive amount of content in this game? Let us know in the comments below!
