Dying Light Board Game

Have you beaten Dying Light 2 and want more? Well, Glass Cannon Unplugged, the creators of Frostpunk: The Board Game, has announced that they are creating Dying Light: The Board Game. It's pretty good timing, as the Frostpunk board game received decent reviews, and with one video game adaptation under their belts, it makes sense to give them another franchise to board game-ify in the Dying Light universe, which is riding high off of the success of Dying Light 2.

What do you we know about Dying Light: The Board Game?

Well, it exists and it's coming. I kid, but there's not much to it so far. The website describes "the story so far"-which is just a summary of the story going into Dying Light 2, and the fact that Dying Light: The Board Game is being created by "a group of industry veterans who have formed a brand new studio" in the form of Glass Cannon Unplugged. So yeah, not much here besides knowing that it exists and it's coming. That's good news, sure, but I really hate these announcements where there's literally nothing of substance. Give us something, game/board game announcers!

Still, given that Frostpunk: The Board Game had a pretty successful Kickstarter, it stands to reason that there's going to be another sometime this year. Probably sooner rather than later, and if you want updates straight from the source you can get them by subscribing your email to their website here.
