In this weeks copy of the Japanese magazine Famitsu, Capcom have revealed Dragon's Dogma Online as the next instalment to the series.

Picked up by Gematsu, the game is set to come out in 2015 for the PC, Playstaion 4 and Playstaion 3. It is to be a free-to-play open-world game with microtransactions. Hiroyuki Kobayashi, who is the executive producer of the game, also led production on the original Dragon's Dogma.

A translation by NeoGAF user duckroll reads,

The game is an online game with a full open world, a lobby area supporting up to 100 players, and feature ongoing content updates, timed events, etc. Players can form parties of up to 4 players or pawns, and engage on quests. There will also be raid-like events which support up to 8 players at once. There will be quick matching as well.

There are four 'jobs' confirmed for Dragon's Dogma Online. These are Fighter, Hunter, Priest, and Shield Sage. Players can change their job at will. The combat of the game will resemble that of the original with players taking on huge monsters.

Upgrades are to be made to the franchises character creation and Capcom plan to support the game after launch by releasing major updates that will expand the game's world.

Dragon's Dogma was first released back in 2012. It then had a re-release with an expansion 'Dark Arisen' in 2013.

Capcom have not revealed if the game will be coming to North America or Europe.
