For those of you who have been patiently waiting for the Card Warriors update for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot on the Nintendo Switch, you're going to have wait a little while longer. The reason given for the delay is that the game has been postponed in order to make "an adjustment of the development schedule", which is fair enough, I guess. With the latest COVID-19 variant wreaking havoc, there's probably going to be a lot more delays in the coming months.

Want to see the full announcement? Check it out below:

[Card Warriors for DBZK Nintendo Switch version] The free update "Card Warriors" for "DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT + A New Power Awakens Set" for Nintendo Switch, scheduled this Autumn will be postponed due to an adjustment of the development schedule.

We apologize for the inconvenience to those who have been waiting for the release of Card Warriors. The team is currently working diligently on the development, and we thank you for your patience. Please wait for additional information regarding the specific date.

We thank you for your continued support for DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT.

As you may well know, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has been out for quite a while. It received a decent score from our very own William Worrall, and the card game itself was announced a few months after its original release. The update was originally released on other platforms such as Steam all the way back in October 2020, so Switch owners have been waiting for a bit. Not as long as that, but since September, which is longer than what they should have been waiting for anyways but I digress.

If you're interested in trying out Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, there's currently a sale ongoing via Steam. You can pick the game up for $19.79 dollarydoos until January 5.

Thanks, Nintendo Life.
