Today Bandai Namco announced the release date of the next DLC coming to its immortal game Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

Considering that the game has outlasted in its DLC support pretty literally every Dragon Ball title released after it, that's pretty impressive. This new DLC, titled "Hero of Justice Pack 2", will include Orange Piccolo & Piccolo (Power Awakening), and Gohan (Beast), plus new story content, parallel quests, skills, costumes, and loading screen illustrations.

It's coming really soon, on May 11, and you can watch the trailer below.

If you find it shocking that new DLC is being released for a game that was launched in October 2016, I can understand your sentiment. However, given the longevity of the Dragon Ball anime franchise, it's not surprising that Bandai Namco is providing ongoing DLC support for Xenoverse 2.

Considering that the game has sold over 8 million copies, it's not unexpected that new DLCs are still being produced. It's amusing to note that the official Steam description of the game still states "post-launch support for one year." That's pretty much the longest year I've ever seen.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is presently accessible for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. If you're interested in learning more about the game, you can read our review.
