Bad news for those who've been patiently waiting for the North America Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! physical release date: it's been delayed to September 21, 2021. That's not too long of a wait as its original release date was August 31, but for those who are desperate for their Doki fix it's probably an eternity.

We appreciate your dedication, patience, and continued support.
What's in the Doki Doki Literature Club Plus Physical Release?
Good question! The physical condition contains a physical copy of the Nintendo Switch game, a poem notebook inner coversheet, a full soundtrack download code, and a vinyl sticker sheet of 17 stickers. You'll also get a Doki Doki Literature Club Membership Card, an Exclusive Special Poem written by Monika, and a 2" Chipboard Character Standees set of 4.
If this sounds like something you want to invest in, you'll be able to get it from Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, and Gamestop for a cool $29.99. Not too shabby if you're into physical collectors editions, I guess.
If you're not into physical collector's edition and want a PC version, you can get the game on Steam for $14.99, which isn't too shabby either. Our own Nirav Gandi gave the game an 8/10, describing Doki as an "existential horror like nothing else I've ever seen" is great news for anyone who likes to sleep with a flashlight underneath their covers at night.
