Tom Clancy's The Division 2: Warlords of New York has been revealed as the next piece of premium DLC for this online shooter.

Check out the official gameplay walkthrough for Warlords of New York showing off this new content:

In The Division 2: Warlords of New York, a brand new open-world area set in New York is making its debut. Players who purchase this DLC will receive an instant Level 30 boost, allowing them to immediately jump in the action without having to grind earlier content.

This new DLC is also upping the game's maximum level to 40 to accommodate the fresh content making its debut. You'll have access to new tactical options like exotics, gears, and skills. Endgame, too, is getting a neat boost. Three-month seasons (each with their own theme) will be rotated in, further extending the life of this new content.

In terms of the story, Division HQ has been hit by an attack from the Vanguard. A biological attack and a hurricane have hit the Big Apple, putting it in an even worse state than it was before. Upon entering this new area, The Division finds themselves awfully short on allies and facing plenty of enemies, one of whom is an ex-Division agent herself. Here's who you'll be up against:

  • Aaron Keener
    • Ex-Division agent
    • Attacked Division headquarters
    • Hiding somewhere in the new area of NYC
    • Has four rogue agents working as his lieutenants
  • Vivian Conley
    • Two Bridges Sector
    • Chemical Weapons Expert
    • Works with the Cleaners, a group that believes fire can purge the Virus
  • Javier Kajika
    • Battery Park Area
    • Ex Black-Ops Hitman with a specialization in stealth
    • Also works with the Cleaners
  • James Dragov
    • Financial District
    • Ex-police officer and heavy weapons specialist
    • Works with the Rikers
  • Theo Parnell
    • Civic Center
    • Drone engineer, skilled hacker, and decoy specialist
    • Also works with the Rikers

New equipment is coming as well. Old favorites like the sticky bomb are returning and they add in the danger of spreading fire for extra damage.

It sounds like a pretty nice chunk of content, but there's also a deal for players who have yet to jump into the game: the Ultimate Edition.

The Division 2: Warlods of New York items
The Tactical Response Pack has some pretty cool gear.

The Division 2: Warlords of New York Ultimate Edition is a Great Deal for New Players

In addition to this new DLC an Ultimate Edition is also being made available for new players.

Here is what's going to be in The Division 2: Warlords of New York Ultimate Edition:

  • The Base Game Tom Clancy's The Division 2
  • The Warlords of New York expansion
  • A boost to Level 30
  • An instant unlock of all 6 endgame specializations
  • 8 exclusive "Classified Assignment" missions
  • The Battleworn secret service pack
  • The First Responder pack
  • The Elite Agent pack
  • 1 Exclusive Emote
  • 1 Exclusive Outfit

That sounds like a pretty sweet deal overall!

Current Year 1 Pass owners will be able to get their hands on the free update Episode 3 which serves as a prologue to Warlords of New York on February 12, 2020. Everyone else is going to have to wait until February 19th for the free prologue. Otherwise, you'll be able to get your hands on The Division 2: Warlords of New York (including the Ultimate Edition, if you want it) on March 3, 2020.
