Disney Dreamlight Valley is a free-to-play life simulator that will have characters from Mickey & Friends, The Lion King, Toy Story, The Little Mermaid, Moana, and more. The game is expected to launch in 2023, but players will be able to play the game this summer in Early Access if they purchase a Founders Pack or happen to be an Xbox Game Pass member. The game will release on PC, Mac, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.

Disney Dreamlight Valley will give our fans the opportunity to write their own story and build their ideal Disney and Pixar life within a richly detailed world populated with characters from some of Disney’s most iconic stories," said Luigi Priore, V.P., of Disney and Pixar Games. “We are excited to hear feedback from our audience throughout the development of this title as we collaborate with the talented team at Gameloft to bring Disney Dreamlight Valley to life.”

Players arrive in the dream world of Dreamlight Valley and begin a quest to restore the once-idyllic village that's now full of Night Thorns after an event called The Forgetting. Players will have to uncover mysterious secrets and explore diverse realms that are inspired by Disney and Pixar films. This means story arcs and activities like serving up Disney-themed dishes can be enjoyed with characters such as Remy from Disney and Pixar's RatatouillePlayers will also be able to fish with Goofy at the fishing hole and grow vegetables in Wall-E's garden patch

Disney and Pixar villages can be designed by players in multiple biomes that range from the snowy mountains of Frosted Heights to the Peaceful Meadow. There are also customization options available for avatars, homes, and villages. As for clothes, there will be princess-inspired ballgowns, Mickey streetwear, and antique kitchen designs designed by Frozen.

“Our development team is a big family of Disney and Pixar fans and have poured all of our passion into the development of Disney Dreamlight Valley, especially in the way we depict characters and their story arcs,” said Manea Castet, Game Manager of Disney Dreamlight Valley at Gameloft Montreal. “We can’t wait for fans to join the Early Access this summer and help us bring this new ever-evolving Disney and Pixar-inspired world to our
excited community.”
