S foils to Attack Position! Today, Disney has announced an all new game to join their ever increasing line-up of Star Wars multimedia in the form of Star Wars: Attack Squadrons.

It's been a while since we were given a Star Wars game focused on starship battles, with the exception of the all new ship-based PvP in Star Wars: The Old Republic. 

Engage other players in dogfights across some of the most beloved Star Wars locations. With three PvP modes, mutiple customizable ships to choose from, and rewards, this game looks to be a great way to hop into the Star Wars universe...and it's free!

Here's some more details:

Three PvP Game Modes:

Free For All: Fight in 16 player deathmatches

Team Dogfight: Join a team and decimate your opponents

Base Defense: Defend your base, while you try to destroy your enemy's

Ship Customization

With a large number of ships to choose from, you can upgrade and customize them each to your liking in order to stand out and dominate the battlefield.

Team Play

Team up with your friends and other pilots in free for all or team-based 16-player battles

Rewards

Earn points with every victory to unlock new items and ships as well as upgrades

Frequent Updates

Expect brand new ships and items every month!
