The Dinkum Roadmap has been revealed, giving us a first look at the updates we can expect for the Australian-themed sandbox game that's all set to launch on Steam later this week.
First revealed back in 2019, Dinkum is a game that's part Animal Crossing, part Stardew Valley. Players leave their depressing life in the city to live on an Australian-themed island and change it from a camp into a thriving town, inviting new people to join their budding village. Dinkum looks like a fair amount of fun, but what you see in the trailer is just the beginning -- developer James Bendon has quite a few new features planned for the future of this game as shown in the Dinkum Roadmap revealed earlier today.

"During the course of the Early Access, I want to add a lot more fun content to the game," developer James Bendon said in today's Dinkum Roadmap announcement. "There will be new seasonal events, new characters coming to the island, clothing, items, and loads, loads more. I will reveal more details on these updates closer to the dates, so stay tuned! But, there’s another reason I went the Early Access route.
"I decided to release Dinkum as an Early Access game so I can watch the community play and respond to what interests players. I’m sure I’ll hear some great ideas and suggestions that may never have occurred to me. I want the community to help create Dinkum! That way we can make Dinkum the best experience it can be."
When is the Dinkum Release Date?
The Dinkum release date is July 14, 2022; you'll be able to play this Australian-themed sandbox game on Steam in just a few short days.
