Today Blizzard Entertainment has announced the dates and details about the upcoming open beta of Diablo 4

We learn that perspective players will be able to enjoy the test from March 24 to March 26, but those who have pre-ordered will get early access, from March 17 to March 19.

The beta and early access focus on the initial portion of Diablo 4, including the prologue and the entirety of Act 1. You'll be able to navigate the first zone, Fractured Peaks, freely. The level cap of the open beta is 25 but you can keep playing freely as long as you don't expect further progression.

Those who have an early access code due to having pre-ordered the game can redeem it on the official website. It's worth mentioning that a Battle.net account is required. After that, you will receive a platform-specific code in your mail that you can redeem on the relevant marketplace for your platform of choice.

It's worth mentioning that this is valid only for those who pre-ordered a physical copy. If you pre-ordered the game digitally, you likely did not receive a code at all, and the open beta will be made available automatically on your platform's account before the beginning of the test. You don't need to do anything else.

The open beta will be available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4.

On top of the open beta news, we also get the cinematic intro of the game that you can watch below.

Diablo 4 will fully release for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 on June 6, 2023.
