At today's PlayStation 5 Showcase, a trailer for Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition was shown off. It will launch with the PS5 digitally, so no word yet on if it will have a physical release.

Our 2019 Game of the Year, Devil May Cry 5 is getting a Special Edition with the next generation of consoles' launch. The Special Edition of course includes upgrades for the next-gen consoles, but there's going to be added content coming along with it as well.

First, Turbo Mode is finally making its way to Devil May Cry 5. A staple of the series, Turbo Mode will turn up the game speed to 1.2x the normal speed, to make for even more insane hack and slash action.

There's a new difficulty added to the game as well, Legendary Dark Knight. It is the most difficult yet, adding more enemies to each encounter to up the carnage and chaos on your screen.

The biggest new addition, however, is that fan favorite Vergil will finally be a playable character. No details yet on how he'll play exactly, aside from the return of the Concentration Gauge, but even if you're not looking to get the Special Edition, there will be Vergil DLC to get just his character if that's all you want.
