There have been new games added to GOG Galaxy Cloud Saves according to a news post on the company's official website.

For those who are unfamiliar with the feature, cloud saving is a feature on some digital distribution services where user data is mirrored on a company's servers. Typically, this means that the data is retained in the case of data loss or customers looking for a fresh start. GOG allows their saves to be synchronized across multiple devices which means that you can play a game on one PC and then carry on with your adventures on another supported device entirely (provided that both have the GOG Galaxy client installed, of course).

Not every game on every service supports the features, but the list of supported games is constantly growing. A list of new games added to GOG Galaxy cloud saves has come out over the holidays, many of which are exclusive to GOG's digital client:

  • Deus Ex GOTY
  • Deus Ex: Invisible War
  • Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault
  • Anno 1404 Gold
  • Homeworld Emergence
  • Icewind Dale 2
  • Psychonauts
  • Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
  • Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: Sith Lords
  • Far Cry
  • Far Cry 2: Fortune's Edition
  • Legacy of Kain: Defiance
  • Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2
  • Thief Gold
  • Thief II: The Metal Age
  • Syberia II
  • Torchlight 2
  • Throne of Darkness
  • The Settlers 2: Gold Edition
  • Pharaoh + Cleopatra
  • Zeus + Poseidon
  • The Bard's Tale
  • Pizza Tycoon 2
  • Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom
  • Tzar: The Burden of the Crown
  • Legend of Grimrock 2
  • Syndicate Plus
  • Syndicate Wars
  • Dungeons & Dragons: Dragonshard
  • Jade Empire: Special Edition
Many of these titles are still on sale for GOG's Black Friday sale [Affiliate Link] which has a bit over a day remaining. If you're out to snap up some good deals (and take advantage of the cloud saves feature), now's as a good a time as any to get moving!

Disclosure: GOG is partnered with TechRaptor for affiliate partnership, and TechRaptor earns a small commission off purchases made from the above links. In addition, GOG provides a monthly discount and giveaway to our Pack Hunter members.

What do you think of the new games added to GOG Galaxy Cloud Saves? Do you find the cloud saves feature on GOG (and other platforms) useful, or do you think it's only used by a minority of people? Has the cloud saves feature ever saved you from data loss? Let us know in the comments below!
