Today Bungie released a new trailer of the highly-anticipated expansion Lightfall for its popular free-to-play game-as-a-service Destiny 2.
The video focused on one of the locations that we'll visit in the game, Neomuna, a futuristic city on Neptune that was secretly founded during the Collapse.
The trailer doesn't just show the tall spires of the city and its neon-flooded streets, but also provides a glimpse of the story. We'll have to face the Vex, the Cabal, and even the Tormentors, and it appears that there is plenty of mystery and danger hidden in Neomuna.
It'll be interesting to see where the story goes, and fans of the shooter franchise don't have much longer to wait before the expansion launches and they can finally tread the streets of Neomuna with their own Guardians.
You can watch it below and see what I mean for yourself.
Destiny 2 is currently available for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. The base game is free to play, but you have to purchase additional content separately if you want to enjoy all it has to offer, including the upcoming expansion Lightfall, which will release on February 28 for all the platforms mentioned above.
The game is the sequel of the popular original Destiny, and marked Bungie's separation from its former publisher, Activision. While the developer is now owned by Sony following a $3.6 billion acquisition that happened last year, there is no indication that the IP will become a PlayStation exclusive any time soon, or ever.
