There's a bit of bad news for the FPSMMO fans out there: the Destiny 2: Beyond Light release date has been pushed back to later in 2020.

In Destiny 2: Beyond Light, an ancient pyramid ship above the moon of Europa has brought rise to a dark empire. Led by Eramis, the Fallen Kell of Darkness, you and your fellow Guardians must unite to confront this new evil.
The Beyond Light expansion is also debuting a new elemental power. Stasis will join the current roster of elements (Arc, Solar, and Voice). Hunters, Titans, and Warlocks will each wield this dark new power in different ways.
Of course, players can look forward to tons of new gear and all sorts of other goodies in this expansion. Unfortunately, they're going to have to wait a bit longer to play it — the Destiny 2: Beyond Light release date has been delayed.
What is the New Destiny 2: Beyond Light Release Date?
With the expected September 2020 launch just a couple of months away, why was Destiny 2: Beyond Light delayed? The answer lies in a news post put out by Bungie.
"The past few months have been a challenge and will continue to be during this pandemic," read the announcement. "We’ve learned to create together in a new way, by having to work apart from one another. Despite these hurdles, we’re still committed to the same level of quality that our fans expect."
As a consequence, the new Destiny 2: Beyond Light release date is November 10, 2020 — a little less than one month after it was supposed to come out. For now, you can buy Destiny 2 or (add it to your wishlist) on Steam.
