The Demon Slayer game VS. Mode roster has been revealed, detailing the first 18 playable demons and warriors coming to Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles on PC and consoles.
Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles is an upcoming 3D fighting game based on the highly popular Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga and anime. Set in Taisho-era Japan, the protagonist Tanjiro Kamado swears to become a demon slayer after his family is murdered and his sister Nezuko is transformed into a demon.
This kind of anime and manga is perfect for a fighting game, so it's no surprise that Sega and CyberConnect2 have teamed up to create Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles. This game will be launching later this year, and a new trailer has just revealed who you'll be able to play in versus mode.
The Demon Slayer Game VS. Mode Roster Has Some Heavy Hitters
Technically, there are a total of 18 characters coming in the Demon Slayer game VS mode roster. However, seven of these characters are alternate versions of other characters and deuteragonist Tanjiro Kamado is getting three distinct versions.

Earlier reveals have emphasized that not all of these characters will be playable in Adventure Mode. At the time, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke will be playable at certain points during Adventure Mode. Additionally, this roster reveal notes that more characters will be released as free DLC.

The Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles release date is October 15, 2021. You'll be able to play this game on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
