Developer Team Jade and publisher TiMi Studio Group have announced that the upcoming Delta Force campaign has been delayed. No new release date has yet been revealed.
In a post on Steam, the two studios say that the campaign, which was originally slated to arrive in January, needs "a bit more time for final polishing and optimization". As such, it'll now launch sometime during the game's second season, known as Season Starfall.
The new release date for the campaign will be revealed "soon", the studios say. They close by thanking fans for their "patience and support" while the finishing touches are applied to the campaign.

When it does arrive, the Delta Force campaign will offer what the developers call a faithful reimagining of Ridley Scott's 2001 movie Black Hawk Down, which focuses on the events of the Battle of Mogadishu.
You'll be able to play the campaign either solo or in co-op mode, and it'll be built in Unreal Engine 5, which the developers say will help it to deliver "next-level immersion" while still remaining "optimized".
The campaign will slot alongside the multiplayer modes, which were released back in December as part of what the devs are calling an "open beta" (although the game doesn't bear any kind of Early Access label on Steam).
Those modes offer the chance to engage in warfare across a number of different gameplay styles, including large-scale 32-versus-32 PvP combat, extraction shooter gameplay, and more.
We don't yet know when Delta Force's second season is set to arrive, but its first season comes to an end on January 18th, so presumably, the second season will follow shortly after that.
You can check out Delta Force right now on PC via Steam. It's also slated for release on PlayStation and Xbox at some point this year, so stay tuned for more on that.
