"Due to several offices, including our main HQ, and those of our developers and partners closing or moving to remote working, we've had to change the release dates of some versions of Deliver Us The Moon and Those Who Remain," stated a tweet from Wired Productions.
"In these uncertain times, we do not want to add any additional workload or stress to those that are affected," the statement continued. "We also want to ensure we fully support our partners in retail, who are facing particular difficulties in supply chains."
As a consequence of this decision, some aspects of the release dates for both games are going to be affected — although it's not all bad news.
Deliver Us The Moon and Those Who Remain Release Date Changes
Here are the changes for the two games as noted in the tweet from Wired Productions:
- Those Who Remain is delayed to June 2020 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
- This includes the physical release for Those Who Remain.
- Deliver Us The Moon will launch digitally as planned on April 24, 2020
- The physical deluxe edition for Deliver Us The Moon will now launch in July 2020 to coincide with the Nintendo Switch and Deluxe Edition releases
While this delay is unfortunate, it's understandable (and commendable) that Wired Productions doesn't want to pile on any more stress for an already stressful situation. These delays will also make it easier for you to actually get your hands on the physical product should you opt to pick up a collector's edition.
You'll have to wait a little longer to get these games, but it's sure to be worth the wait. Look forward to them arriving in April and June, respectively.
