If you've been hoping for a Deliver Us Mars release date, then you don't need to hope any longer. Developer Keoken Interactive and publisher Frontier Foundry have announced that the atmospheric adventure will launch for PC and consoles this September.
When is the Deliver Us Mars release date?
You'll be able to play the Deliver Us The Moon sequel pretty soon, which should come as some comfort after the recent news that the first game's next-gen release date has been delayed. The Deliver Us Mars release date lands on September 27th, when the narrative action-adventure game will launch for PC, PlayStation platforms, and Xbox consoles. News of the game's release date was accompanied by a gameplay trailer showing off Deliver Us Mars' emphasis on exploration and cosmic grandeur. You can check out that trailer right here.
What is Deliver Us Mars?
Deliver Us Mars is the sequel to 2019's Deliver Us The Moon, which TR's very own Robert N. Adams rather enjoyed. Mars will expand on the gameplay and narrative of its predecessor; it takes place ten years after the conclusion of Deliver Us The Moon and revolves around a distress call from Mars, which young astronaut Kathy Johannson must embark on a planet-hopping trip to investigate. When she gets there, she'll need to unravel the mystery behind the organization known as "Outward" and recover colony ships stolen by the shadowy group. As before, Deliver Us Mars will be a narrative-heavy experience, but there will be plenty of exploration-focused gameplay, too, so you'll need your wits about you to traverse the hostile landscape of Mars.
You'll be able to check out Deliver Us Mars when it launches for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox on September 27th. The game will be available on both current-gen and last-gen platforms, too. Given that the original Deliver Us The Moon didn't make its way to Nintendo Switch, we wouldn't hold out hope for a Switch port for Mars, either. Of course, we'll bring you more on this one as soon as we get it. In the meantime, be sure to give it a wishlist on Steam if it looks like your jam.
