Legendary Digital Media and Crackle announced the principle cast for the upcoming Dead Rising: Watchtower feature-length film.
Rob Riggle (Let's Be Cops, 22 Jump Street), Harley Morenstein (Epic Meal Time), Keegan Connor Tracey (Once Upon a Time), and Aleks Paunovic (This Means War) will be joining the principle cast of the film
Riggle will play Frank West, a photo-journalist skilled in surviving and reporting on Zombie outbreaks; Morenstein will play Pyro, a biker and Paunovic's second-in-command; Paunovic will play Logan, the tough criminal head of a biker gang and Tracey will play Jordan, a straight-laced journalist.
The film will take place during a large zombie outbreak. When a vaccine fails to stop the infection from spreading, the four main characters must avoid getting infected while attempting to pursue the cause of the outbreak, with signs pointing to a government conspiracy.
Dead Rising: Watchtower will debut on Crackle in the US and then the project will be released on DVD, SVOD, VOD and Television sometime in 2015.
