The Deathslinger in Dead by Daylight's Chains of Hate update

Move over, cause there's a new sheriff in town and he ain't happy. A new Dead by Daylight update has landed for the asymmetrical multiplayer horror game. Chains of Hate adds a new killer, a new survivor, and the new Dead Dawg Saloon Wild West-themed map. Let's take a look at Dead by Daylight's new killer and new survivor.

Who is Dead by Daylight's new killer?

Prepare to lose sleep tonight. The Deathslinger is Dead by Daylight's new killer, and he looks pretty menacing. Caleb Quinn was once a brilliant engineer whose life's work was stolen by his employers. In exchange for revenge, Caleb promises to help a local prison warden fill his jail full of inmates. His special ability, The Redeemer, hooks survivors and reels them in, leaving them with a wound if they manage to escape. He's also got three perks. Gearhead allows the Deathslinger to sense the sound of clanging metal. Dead Man's Switch blocks generators from being repaired. Lastly, Hex Retribution makes any survivor cleansing a Hex Totem oblivious to the Deathslinger's presence. It'll also reveal all survivors if a totem is cleansed.

Who is Dead by Daylight's new survivor?

Zarina Kassir is described by developer Behaviour Entertainment as "a daring modern workaholic filmmaker". She comes complete with three new perks. Off the Record stops Zarina from being revealed to the killer if you escape from a hook. Red Herring shows the aura of a generator you're repairing until the repairs are completed. Lastly, For the People allows you to heal a survivor at the cost of some of your own health. This perk also increases your chances of becoming the killer's Obsession.

Dead by Daylight's Chains of Hate DLC pack is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch for $7.99.
