Update #2: Sony has confirmed to IGN that the Days Gone PC edition and other games listings are in error.

"The listings are not accurate," Sony said in their statement. "We have made no announcements to bring these games to PC."

Updated: While there's not yet any confirmation on the Days Gone PC edition, PC Gamer reports that SEGA has commented on Persona 5 Royal. According to SEGA, the Amazon France listing for Persona 5 Royal on PC is in error and they're looking into getting it taken down.

Furthermore, @Wario64 has reported on listings for Gran Turismo SportUncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, and The Last of Us Part II also being listed for PC on Amazon France. The veracity of these listings is now in extreme question considering the aforementioned statement from SEGA about P5R.

Our original story continues below.

Days Gone PC edition may be coming if a recent Amazon France listing is to be believed. If it's true, we'll be getting a pretty cool survival game at some point in the future.

If you haven't been keeping up with this game, check out the Days Gone Story Trailer for a quick refresher:

Days Gone tells a tale that we've all heard about six hundred times by now: zombies emerge in the world and everything turns to chaos. What makes this particular game interesting is the characterization. You're not some genius scientist or special-ops soldier fending off the hordes. Instead, you're a badass biker with a sweet hog and a talent for gunning down hordes of enemies.

Now, it seems that a Days Gone PC edition may have leaked on Amazon France going by this archive. The Amazon France store listing is still live at the time of writing, but there hasn't yet been an official announcement about this game making its way to PC.

Will There Be a Days Gone PC Edition?

It's possible that this Amazon store listing is a mistake, of course. What are the odds that this is actually real?

Days Gone was developed by SIE Bend Studio, so this project came out of Sony. If it were a year ago, I would have been a lot more skeptical about this game making its way to PC. However, things have changed since this.

Early last month, Sony announced that Horizon Zero Dawn was making its way to PC. That was certainly unexpected, but Sony has since indicated that they're a little more willing to port some of their exclusives to the PC in the future (although not all of them).

However, another strange listing has also popped up on Amazon France as highlighted by @Wario64:: Persona 5 Royal for PC (Archive). This lends a bit of evidence that this Days Gone PC release may be in error. That's supplemented by another listing for Scalebound (Archive), a game that is no longer in development and confirmed dead by Phil Spencer, despite Amazon France still taking preorders for it apparently.

This isn't the first time that Amazon France has erroneously listed a game release, mind. It had once put up a store page for a Bloodborne PC release as reported by IGN, and we very obviously never got that.

Quick Take

So, are we getting a Days Gone PC edition or not? With the recent announcement of Horizon Zero Dawn on Steam, I think it's very plausible that we'll see a Days Gone PC edition. When we'll get it (and how much it will cost) is, for now, a mystery.
