Three Fields Entertainment has revealed its roadmap for Dangerous Driving updates. The game will be receiving new modes, bug fixes, and more over the coming weeks.

First up, on May 24th, a long-awaited online multiplayer mode will be added to Dangerous Driving. The online multiplayer will support 6-player racing, to begin with. Three Fields is calling this "Version 1", with Version 2 coming in early June. The company will be releasing a blog post soon for those who want to know more about this feature. The May 24th update will also include a few quality-of-life improvements such as camera tweaks, PC HUD scaling, and a tweak to the amount of Boost players receive from Air.

May 31st brings with it a significant gameplay tweak. This update will reduce the likelihood of players experiencing bad collisions. Examples would be intersecting the road, being launched into the air, being spawned the wrong way after a collision, and getting stuck in barriers. There will also be more quality-of-life tweaks pertaining to paint choices in car select and the ability to save Sensitivity options.

The next Dangerous Driving update comes in mid-June. This update will add Online Racing Version 2, as well as a new mode called Online Road Rage. There will also be a number of priority gameplay fixes, including an upgrade to Unreal Engine v4.22. Three Fields is hoping this will improve load times in Dangerous Driving, as well as reducing stutter and improving overall rendering performance. For more info on these updates, plus a list of currently known issues in Dangerous Driving, check out the official announcement post. There's also an FAQ there that should answer any other questions you might have.

Dangerous Driving is a spiritual successor to the Burnout series. The game's developer, Three Fields Entertainment, was formed by three former members of Burnout developer Criterion Games. Dangerous Driving was released via the Epic Games Store on April 9th.
