If you've got those Cyberpunk 2077 next patch blues, CD Projekt Red is here with a partial cure. With the Cyberpunk 2077 1.3 update on the way, CDPR has revealed more about what we can expect from it, including UI changes and quest streamlining.
What can we expect from the Cyberpunk 2077 1.3 update?
This isn't a full set of patch notes; rather, it's a sneak peek of what's coming, with more details on the way later. As is CD Projekt Red tradition, the announcement takes the form of an N54 News bulletin. Each change highlighted by the bulletin comes with a nice little piece of fiction, so if you love Cyberpunk 2077's writing, there's a little more to indulge in here.
First up, Cyberpunk 2077's minimap is getting some improvements; you'll now be able to "see more and navigate better", according to CDPR. In addition, during a quest that takes place at the Clouds dollhouse, images of the two dolls available to you will linger as you make your choice. CDPR says this should help you "better understand" how to make the decision that's right for you during this narrative sequence. Finally, you'll also notice a new Reset Perks button when you're leveling up, which should make testing out different builds easier. It's costly, though, so don't make the decision lightly. This is only a small portion of what's coming in the Cyberpunk 2077 1.3 update, though; CDPR says it'll reveal more as the release date draws closer.
When is the Cyberpunk 2077 next patch release date?
We don't yet know when the 1.3 update for Cyberpunk 2077 is going to land. CD Projekt Red says it'll reveal a full list of all the changes you can expect from the patch "soon". In the meantime, there's going to be a stream tomorrow (August 17th) on which the studio will reveal "what else is new in Night City", so be sure to tune in if you want some more Cyberpunk 2077 info.
The wait for the Cyberpunk 2077 1.3 update has been long and difficult for fans of the game. Earlier this year, CD Projekt Red advertised an update for the game that many believed would be 1.3, but that turned out simply to be a reminder that update 1.2 was currently available. The situation has grown so frustrating for many that some have decided to take matters into their own hands; a modder has taken it upon themselves to create their own version of patch 1.3, fixing many bugs and making balance changes. Who knows which Cyberpunk 2077 1.3 update will be better? We'll bring you more on this as soon as we get it.
