Publisher Deck13 Spotlight and developer Radical Fish Games are bringing their futuristic 2D Action RPG, CrossCode, to consoles. It was one of the biggest requests from the community, and the studio listened. The game debuted on PC in September 2018 and received favorable reviews from the community and critics alike.

The developer wanted to make sure the console release stands out. Therefore, the studio gave each platform an exclusive quest line and boss fight. PC users can expect to get their share as well of these once the console releases go live. In the press release, Radical Fish Games hinted towards the possibility of these quests eventually being part of something bigger. The studio might leave hints or connect them together through DLC later on, but who knows?

For those unfamiliar with CrossCode, it brings the old-school Pokemon-inspired RPG style and combines it with a fast-paced combat system, and engaging puzzle mechanics. There are over 120 enemy types to defeat, and 8 expansive dungeons to conquer. The title has tons of content to keep you engaged for hours upon end.

Not only that, Deck13 partnered with ININ Games to release physical copies of CrossCode as well. All major retailers in Europe and North America will sell the game's Switch and PS4 versions, starting from August 28th. The studio is offering players the chance to purchase the exclusive SteelBook and Collector's Edition starting now only at Strictly Limited Games.

CrossCode releases for July 9th for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Make sure to check out the newly released trailer celebrating the game's console release.
