Today Ubisoft announced that its upcoming open-world driving and racing game The Crew Motorfest will launch in the fall of 2023.

This narrows the release window a bit from the "2023"  we heard when the game was originally revealed back in January. The Insider Program has been going on for a while allowing players to provide feedback and developers to identify flaws to correct by launch or later with updates, and apparently, they determined that the game is close enough to be ready that a fall release window is achievable.

This was shared by Senior Creative Director Stéphane Beley from Ubisoft's Ivory Tower studio in a new video, which doesn't really feature much more than commentary on the Insider Program.

We also get the confirmation that the full reveal of the game will be at Ubisoft Forward on June 12.

You can check out the video for yourself below.

The Crew Motorfest is scheduled to release on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.

Here's what the game promises:

Developed by Ubisoft Ivory Tower, a studio based in Lyon, France, The Crew Motorfest lets players fulfill the driving bucket list of their dreams in one of the most exhilarating and vibrant open worlds ever created. Motorfest is a car-culture infused festival organized in one of the world’s most breathtaking locations: O‘ahu, one of the main islands of the Hawaiian archipelago.

On their own or with friends, players can explore this galvanizing tropical playground behind the wheel of hundreds of the most legendary vehicles ever built. At every corner of the island, the festival offers infinite opportunities for pure fun, all forms of driving challenges, and invites them to explore incredible landscapes: from big city streets to volcano slopes, lush rainforests, idyllic beaches… They are free to follow the roads or forge their own path!
