If you have enjoyed horror anthology shows like Creepshow, then you'll be happy to know that a Creepshow video game is now in the works. The game itself features the talents of DreadXP as a publisher and production company, along with AMC networks. Let's talk about it, shall we?

What can I expect from the Creepshow video game?

The Creepshow video game isn't out for a while: 2024, to be exact. While that sounds like a long way away, it's only technically a year and a half away, which is honestly pretty horrifying. I feel like the rapidly aging soldier from the end of Saving Private Ryan, and I don't like it.

Anyways, the game will be released across multiple platforms and will feature the talents of multiple game developers, which for a video game is kind of strange, but as Creepshow is already an anthology, it makes sense. Plus, it could make for a very interesting approach to a horror game. With games like Scorn taking horror in a weird and eclectic direction, an anthology video game made by multiple developers is definitely something that could get horror fans excited.

You should expect to see visuals like this in the upcoming Creepshow video game.

If DreadXP sounds familiar, they're behind titles such as The Mortuary Assistant, the Dread X Collection titles, and a bunch more. Basically, they definitely have some street cred, and they even have Brian Clarke, the director of The Mortuary Assistant, in place as Creepshow's creative director.

“I’m extremely excited to be a part of such a fun project. I’ve always loved Creepshow’s format, and the idea of driving the cohesion of multiple perspectives on horror is really compelling to me,” Clarke says. “I feel honored to have been asked to be a part of this. I can’t wait to jump in and bring the best I can to such a great IP.”
