Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! will be releasing later this month for iOS and Android. It's a new runner title that combines Crash's gameplay with social features that "add depth and progression to the game." The Crash Bandicoot mobile game will celebrate the Crash Bandicoot franchise's 25th anniversary, so fans can expect characters, bosses, enemies, and lands from the series showing up in this runner title. Check out the blurb below:

In Crash Bandicoot: On the Run!, the dastardly Dr. Neo Cortex has returned to take control of the multiverse, with the help of his maniacal mutagen henchmen. Only Crash and his sister Coco can save the day and put a stop to their plans. Fans will immediately recognize regions from previous Crash Bandicoot games, such as Temple Ruins, Turtle Woods, Bear It and more.

While in-game, players will be able to follow secret paths and run into hidden island locations to find in-game challenges and rewards, and battle characters such as Scorporilla, Nitrus Brio, Nina Cortex or Dingodile for some of those rewards. Players will have to build up their running skills by scouting the island and defeating Dr. Neo Cortex's minions.

Players will also be able to team up with Coco Bandicoot and go on battle runs to unlock rewards that will build up, upgrade, and customize their base. Ingredients can also be gathered on collection runs to craft serums and buildings, and skins can be unlocked in order to customize your unique version of Crash Bandicoot.
