Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 Crash Bandicoot items have arrived as part of a new update. This new Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 update also features over 100 new challenges, player-created decks, a new charity DLC, and various other changes.

If you've missed out on Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2, it's a pretty damn good remake of the first two games in the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater franchise. The developers have been hard at work implementing new content including 8 new skaters added earlier this year, and now a new batch of content has debuted a somewhat surprising crossover with Crash Bandicoot.

What Are the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 Crash Bandicoot Items?

Only a handful of the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 Crash Bandicoot items were shown off in today's announcement, although they only scratch the surface of what will actually be available in the game.

"This first-ever crossover between Crash and Tony is only made possible due to the powers of the multiverse, which allows you to show off your Crash fandom on whatever skatepark (or dimension) you drop into," read a blog post from Activision about the update. "The pack includes a new board, shirts, and hats that all look out of this world and are perfect to wear while re-completing those Solo Tour goals."

What's New in the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 Update?

Although the debut of the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 Crash Bandicoot items is pretty cool, that's far from the only new content coming in this update. Vicarious Visions has added over 100 new challenges spread across 10 Challenge Sets to the game. Players can find new objectives in multiple game modes including the brand-new Solo Tours mode.

Sola Tours will allow players to experience the Tours mode from the beginning with a twist — they can now select any individual skater available on the roster. This will allow you to unlock more Stat Points for the skater of your choice. The game's current Tours mode will be moved to "Crew Tours."

Even more cosmetic options are also arriving. Three fans have won a community contest to get their deck designs featured in the game; all three of these new decks will be available to use in Create-a-Skater.

The final item of note in this new Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 update is the addition of The Birdman Pack. This piece of DLC features 10 decks for Create-a-Skater, split between designs from Birdhouse and Powell-Peralta. Net proceeds from The Birdman Pack will fund the non-profit mission of The Skatepark Project from the Tony Hawk Foundation, a 501(c)3 charity that builds skateparks in underserved areas. It currently holds a 100/100 rating on Charity Navigator.

The Birdman Pack will only be available for a limited time — sales of the pack will end on 12/31/21 or when $500,000 is raised, whichever happens first. If you've been anxious to get back to shredding across the city, you can buy Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 via its official website starting at $39.99 or your regional equivalent.
