Unless your interests are of a particular nature, you probably don't know the name Crows Crows Crows. Founded by Stanley Parable designer William Pugh, this studio has specialized in short experimental experiences that often contain brilliant writing. Their latest work is EAT The Revolution, a strange app unleashed onto iOS and Android alongside the promise of more to come in short order.
Described as "the ultimate disruption of the hierarchical power structure at the heart of society," EAT delivers food-based imagery straight to your fingertips. Tapping on said pictures will give you appropriate chomping noises and motivational messages from the revolutionaries working against the machinations of UNCLE HUNGER. We have all faced his wrath as a deadline loomed, forcing us to walk into a bakery or café and order an overpriced crosant that we don't actually want. We have to satisfy the cravings of this madman one way or another and now EAT: The Revolution lets us do so.
In all actuality, EAT is more of a simple teaser than anything else. The letter to Crows Crows Crows newsletter subscribers includes talk about finally making money, which would contrast with all their other releases being free up to this point. They also actively discourage people from watching the upcoming Game Awards Pre-Show, so we can expect a new announcement from them during that broadcast. If you're interested in experiencing all of EAT: The Revolution for yourself, you can download it now on iOS and Android devices.
