The massive Conan Exiles 3.0 update coming in Q3 2022 adds the Age of Sorcery, which will be the norm from now on. In the future, each Age will have its own its "own theme, free gameplay updates, and paid Battle Passes." The battle passes will replace the paid DLC model that Funcom has been using for the past four years in order to more evenly pace content, which is fair enough, I suppose. Let's take a look at the rest of the update, shall we?

What else is in the Conan Exiles 3.0 update?

With the Age of Sorcery, players will be able to choose whether they want to use sorcery, which means sacrificing a "portion of their life force to cast deadly spells and summon unholy creatures." The update will also give players an improved attributes and perks system that will allow choices at specific milestones, which will deepen character progression and combat.

As for building, it's been given a complete overhaul for those using either a controller or a keyboard. It's now faster and easier to use and comes with a tailored Creative Mode that will let players fly through the air with no restrictions. Other improvements and additions include followers tweaks, new placeables and crafting materials for sorcery and rituals, and updates to the world to make it feel more dangerous and alive.

More information on the Age of Sorcery update will come as its launch nears, so stay tuned to TechRaptor for more information on Conan Exiles and anything else Funcom related.
