Developer SCS Software's American Truck Simulator made its debut in February 2016, known for their work on similar titles of the nature like Euro Truck Simulator 2 and UK Truck Simulator. Since then, the title received 19 expansions, varying from new states to jobs and design packs. So far, American Truck Simulator received a total of seven state expansions, including Idaho, Utah, Washington, Oregon, and more. A few days ago, the studio released a teaser trailer while asking viewers to guess where is the location purely from the 43-second footage provided and scenery. Most people guessed it was Colorado, and indeed it was.
Host to the historic Rocky Mountains and considered the 21st most populous U.S. state, Colorado, comes to American Truck Simulator in all its glory. The developer describes the state as the "home to some of the country's tallest mountains, a wide variety of biomes and an array of unique industries." Colorado's roads and highways will tie-in directly with the game's existing roads, opening up a whole new network of routes and paths you can take to get to your destination. At least even if you feel a little lonely on the road, Colorado lets you enjoy "the magnificent scenery of mountains, rivers and plains" it has to offer. At the moment, there is no release date set for the expansion, however, the developer promises to do their best to release it as soon as they can taking into consideration the current circumstances and unexpected delays.
American Truck Simulator is available exclusively on PC. Make sure to check out the teaser trailer SCS Software put out a couple of days ago showcasing in-game footage of the title's latest Colorado expansion, since no new trailer was released alongside the official announcement.
