Firaxis and 2K games announced the release date of the latest DLC leaders coming to Sid Meier's Civilization VI.
The Great Builders DLC will release on March 15, bringing three new leaders to the popular strategy game like the previous packs for the series.
On top of the date, we get two trailers revealing the first of the three rulers included in the package, Empress Theodora of Byzantium and King Ludwig II of Bavaria, who will lead Germany.
The third leader included in the package will be Sejong the Great one of the rulers of the Joseon dynasty of Korea. We'll likely get his trailer soon but in the meanwhile, you can take a look at Theodora and Ludwig II below.
This is part of the ongoing Leaders Pass which started with the Great Negotiators pack released at the end of November 2022, including President of the United States Abraham Lincoln, Nzinga Mbande queen of Kongo, and Sultan Saladin of Arabia. The second pack was the Great Commanders pack including Nader Shah of Persia, Tokugawa of Japan, and Suleiman the Magnificent of the Ottoman Empire. The third was the Rulers of China DLC and it included Wu Zetian, Quin Shi Huang, and Yongle. The fourth is the Rulers of the Sahara DLC including Ramses II of Egypt, Sundiata Keita of the Mali Empire, and Ptolemaic Cleopatra of Egypt.
The Great Builders pack won't be the last. The Rulers of England pack will follow and close the series, including Elizabeth I (England), Varangian Harald Hardrada (Norway), and Victoria – Age of Steam (England).
You should keep in mind that some leaders in these DLC are locked behind their civilizations, so you may need additional packages to use them all.
Sid Meier's Civilization VI is currently available for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, on top of a mobile version.
